This blog is intended to be a place to gather responses to the rich material and ecological culture of Crossbones Graveyard, Southwark. This might include, for example, artworks or offerings found on site as well as plants, animals, and fungi. The idea is to gradually build a perspective on the site that starts with the very small: to hone in on details which are fragmentary in isolation, but which come together with a multitude of other parts to produce the dynamic whole we know as Crossbones.
This blog is convened by Hannah Reeves, a volunteer at Crossbones and PhD candidate in Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck, University of London.
